Demo of the Granger M100 SuperPlexi amplifier, with various classic rock riffs . www.GrangerAmp.com for pricing, specs, available options, etc.
This amp is all-tube, hand-wired and inspired by the late 60’s era Marshall Superlead, and has a PPIV (Lar-Mar) master volume, and specific component value changes made to my personal preferences. It utilizes Solen and Sozo signal caps, JJ, Sprague, and F&T filter caps, JJ EL34 and ECC83S tubes. PT, OT and choke are Magnetic Components, Inc, made to my specs.
The recording is a 2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus (tuned to STANDARD 440 tuning since someone said tuning half step doesn’t demonstrate the true tone of the amp… yeah right!) plugged straight into the amp. The cabinet is a standard 4×12 made of 3/4″ baltic birch loaded with 8 ohm Mojotone BV-25s, wired in series/parallel for 8 ohms. The mic is a Shure SM57, into a dbx386 mic pre, and recorded on a Roland VS-1680. Reverb and tape echo effects added at mixdown.

Peace, love, and rock n roll!

If you’ve listened to any of my mixtapes I’ve always made it clear that Hip-Hop is about how something is packaged, not necessarily a finite genre. Here is another example. A live mix, with one turntable, of:
Richard Pryor “Insane”
Fab Five Freddy “Change the Beat” (Female Version)
Jimi Hendrix “Foxey Lady”
Led Zeppelin “Kashmir”
Eric Clapton “I Shot the Sheriff”
Pink Floyd “Breathe”
Equipment present: 2 Stanton c314 CD decks, 1 Stanton T60X turntable with Shure M25C cartridge, Stanton SMX201 mixer. Enjoy! The Stanton T60X has just replaced the wretched Gemini XL-DD50II I /was/ using.

*LYRICS*
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war,
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We’re just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Live cover of Led Zeppelin ’s classic rock song Rock And Roll from Led Zeppelin ’s 1971 classic rock album Led Zeppelin IV. Led Zeppelin ’s classic song Rock And Roll cover was recorded live for our first promo DVD.
Rock and Roll came to be written as a spontaneous jam session, whilst Led Zeppelin were trying to hard to finish another track.
Rock and Roll is one of the few Led Zeppelin songs where all four members share the composer credit.
Led Zeppelin wrote the lyrics with reference a number of 1950s and 1960s early classic rock and roll hits.
Rock and Roll lyrics
It’s been a long time since I rock-and-rolled
It’s been a long time since I did the Stroll
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back, let me get it back
mm-baby, where I come from
It’s been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Yes, it has
It’s been a long time since the book of love
I can’t count the tears of a life with no love
A-carry me back, carry me back, carry me back
mm-baby, where I come from, whoa-whoa, whoa-oh-oh-hoh
Its been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Ah, ah-ah, ah-ah
Hoh, it’s been so long since we walked in the moonlight
a-making vows that just can’t work right
Haw-haw, yeah, open your arms, open your arms, open your arms
Baby let my love come running in, a-yeah
It’s been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
