Alien Hip Hop Section

This is part of a song titled Alien Hip Hop written by Virgil Donati on the drumkit as performed on the Planet X Quantum cd. I prefer that version over the older On The Virg version. Just the bass drum ostinato, with a couple different hand patterns. There is a particular slowed down section where the snare drum changes to match the keyboard accents. Notice how the left hand will “move” around the hi-hat pattern. First, the left and right hand hit together, then the left hand hits just after the right hand, then the left hits just before the right hand, then together, etc. I will later post some other things that Virgil does with the ostinato, particularly the middle section where he begins in 4/4, then does a couple strange maneuvers, and throws in a 5/16 hi-hat/snare groove.
