I think it goes without saying that pretty much anything from before the mid-80's is classic rock, but what about late-80's to early-90's? What are bands stuck in the limbo between classic and modern going to be called?
Questions, comments?

must be done making music (new Songs) for at least 10 years
and at least 1 rock anthem has to have more than 1 good song

What is the atomic weight of a metal that forms an oxide M2O3 that is 17.29% O by weight ?
We are trying to find the atomic weight of M an imaginary element.
my choices are
57.4 g/mol
76.6 g/mol
115 g/mol
229 g/mol
I just can't find how to do this problem in my book can anyone explain how to do this?
Well.. hmm.. I did this my own way.
The total mass of O in the compound is 48g (that is 3 x 16). It is said that the compound is 17.29% by mass.
%O = total mass of O/total mass of compound
Total mass of compound = total mass of O + total mass of M
assume x as the total mass of M in compound
0.1729 = 48/(x + 48)
x = 229.62 g
Since there are 2 moles of M in the compound, divide x by 2. The final answer would be 114.81g/mol which is approximately 115 g/mol… =)
